An eco-epidemic model with seasonal variability: a non-autonomous model

چکیده

Abstract Seasonal variability strongly affects the animal population in wildlife. It becomes essential to model seasonality eco-epidemic dynamics know effect of system parameters a periodic environment. This article presents set non-autonomous differential equations with time-varying disease transmission rates among prey and predators, mortality rate diseased predator, predation healthy prey, an additional food supply. The positiveness, boundedness, presence solution are derived. We have proved that infection-free state is stable if basic reproduction number $$R_C(t)<1$$ R C ( t ) < 1 . stability coexistence shown at $$R_C(t)>1$$ > using Poincare map comparison theory. significance related prevalence described sensitivity analysis. Numerical simulation verified our analytical findings predator control strategies environment via controlling rate, death lead towards

Dynamics of an eco-epidemic model with stage structure for predator

The predator-prey model with stage structure for predator is generalized in the context of ecoepidemiology, where the prey population is infected by a microparasite and the predator completely avoids consuming the infected prey. The intraspecific competition of infected prey is considered. All the equilibria are characterized and the existence of a Hopf bifurcation at the coexistence equilibriu...

A non-autonomous multi-strain SIS epidemic model.

In this paper we consider a non-autonomous multi-strain SIS epidemic model with periodic coefficients. Reproduction numbers and invasion reproduction numbers are derived which agree well with their counterparts usually derived from autonomous epidemic models. With conditions on these reproduction numbers typical results are obtained, such as the local and global stability of the disease-free eq...

Stochastic amplification in an epidemic model with seasonal forcing.

We study the stochastic susceptible-infected-recovered (SIR) model with time-dependent forcing using analytic techniques which allow us to disentangle the interaction of stochasticity and external forcing. The model is formulated as a continuous time Markov process, which is decomposed into a deterministic dynamics together with stochastic corrections, by using an expansion in inverse system si...

A polling model with an autonomous server

Polling models are used as an analytical performance tool in several application areas. In these models, the focus often is on controlling the operation of the server as to optimize some performance measure. For several applications, controlling the server is not an issue as the server moves independently in the system. We present the analysis for such a polling model with a so-called autonomou...
